We are continuously designing and modifying components to be used with the Spinnsoft Gallery Database. Below is a list of the most common components we have available.

Each of these components can easily be added to an existing website to give immediate functionality. MicroCreations can also develop a new website from scratch or work with your current web designer to incorporate the components into any design.

If you do not find a component on this page that meets your needs please feel free to call or email us to discuss creating a custom design just for you.

Art Search Pull-Down Lists
Pull-down lists containing Artists, Keyword, or Categories can be added to any location on your site. Typically when a user selects an item on the list it sends them to a thumbnail page displaying artwork described by that item. The pull-down lists can be part of an "Online Gallery" search page or simply placed in a menu to give visitors easy access to your artwork. The Art of Japan Website is an excellent example of an artist and keyword pull-down in the menu at the top of each page:

Online Gallery Search Page
An Online Gallery search page can be customized to meet the needs of your specific gallery. Keyword search fields, artist, keyword, or category pull-down lists, and artist or category image lists can be designed to your specific needs. Rohrer Fine Art provides an example of an artist pull-down list, keyword search and category image list:

Artist List
An artist list is one of the most common layouts for users to find art on a gallery website. We have several versions of artist lists generated from the Spinnsoft Gallery Database web data

The Navarro Gallery uses a list which is divided by Spinnsoft Web Publisher Categories. This give the gallery the ability to assign artists to multiple categories or their website.

The Frazer Fine Art gallery uses a large alphabetized list of all of their artists. With a large artist list this configuration makes it much easier to find a specific name.

The Perry Nicole Gallery uses a list of artists on their menu which displays an image for each artist when you pass your mouse over the artist name.

Artwork Thumbnail Page
The thumbnail page component is displayed when a user searches for art on the website. It displays a list of images and information which can be formatted to fit into nearly any style or design.

Frazer Fine Art is one of many sites which incorporate the standard thumbnail page component. This component displays a thumbnail list which is clickable to produce a detailed look at any particular art piece.

Sell Your Art/Image Upload
Allowing a customer to upload an image of art they are trying to sell to your website provides a powerful tool when dealing in pre-owned art. This module gives users the ability to upload images directly to a secure section of your website. It then emails the gallery, letting them know there are new images to view. The gallery can log into a secure viewing area at their convenience to view the images.

Frazer Fine Art uses this module to assess potential purchases.
